Anglo American Zimele is not open-market grant funding. It's value-chain-linked enterprise development — meaning the business must have a credible connection to Anglo American's operations, suppliers, or communities where Anglo operates.

Zimele provides below-market loans and business support to black-owned businesses that are already trading. The value-chain filter eliminates most applicants before the business case is even assessed. If the connection is not real and credible, do not apply.

Kayzi Advisory NoteHighly credible but highly specific. Only surface when value-chain fit to Anglo American's ecosystem is genuine. A weak or forced connection is worse than no application at all.
