Only what is necessary: your name and email when you sign up (account info), details entered during the Readiness Check (business info), pages visited and time spent collected via cookies (usage data), and emails you send us (correspondence). We do not collect sensitive information such as ID numbers, race, or health data.

3. Why we collect it

To run the Readiness Check and deliver results, improve the platform, communicate where you have consented, and meet legal obligations. We will never use your information for undisclosed purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

We may share with trusted service providers (hosting, email) who are bound to handle your data securely and only for the purpose we specify. We may also disclose if required by law.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. On closure or deletion request, we remove your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

6. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and understand how the platform is used. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or serve advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal information
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request removal of your personal information
  • Objection — object to certain processing of your data
  • Complain — to the Information Regulator of South Africa

We respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the platform. The date at the top reflects the most recent update.
